Children & Young People Awards 2021 Announcement

On Tuesday 14th September 2021 we received confirmation that we have are finalists for 5 separate awards at this years Children & Young People Awards!

Our Residential Support Worker Ami Westmacott is up for Newcomer of the Year! With 7 months in care she has been outstanding and this is a testament to all the hard work she's put in. Ami, we are immensely proud!

Our Residential Support Worker Marie Arif, from our Sandstone House team, is up for Support Worker of the Year! Marie has been a rock at Sandstone for the last year and has become the template for all RSW’s in our homes to follow. Congratulations Marie!

Our fantastic Registered Manager Alison Macaulay who manages Sandstone House is up for Homes Manager of the Year! This is Alison's first year as a Registered Manager and the commitment and results she has driven is out of this world. Well done Alison!

Our amazing team at Opal House are finalists in the Team of the Year category! After joining the Stepping Stones Care Family in February, the team has gone from strength to strength. The work they have done with the Young People and the resilience they’ve shown has been nothing short of Outstanding. Congratulations Team!

And lastly, Stepping Stones Care is up for Employer of the Year. This one is a huge team effort from everyone in the business. It's been an incredible year and a bit, and we have grown and developed together so much and come so far. The future is definitely looking bright!
