At CORAL House, our core mission is to provide a warm, welcoming environment while delivering exceptional care and achieving outstanding outcomes for the children in our care.

Located in Bromsgrove, Coral House is our newest children’s home, providing a therapeutic setting for up to three children. With the support of an in-house clinical psychology team, we offer comprehensive care and guidance to both our young people and staff, which includes:

- Conducting initial assessments as needed

- Staff consultations and clinical supervision during team meetings

- Oversight of therapeutic care plans and behaviour support documents

- Regular observations of children’s behaviour and staff practices

- Remote support when required

- Regular direct or indirect therapy sessions for young people, if necessary

We place a strong emphasis on staff training in therapeutic parenting approaches, such as the PACE model, both at the start of employment and throughout their time with us. This ensures a consistent, high-quality approach to the nurturing care that underpins our interactions with children and young people.

Coral House caters to children and adolescents aged 8-18 who are dealing with emotional and behavioural difficulties often rooted in complex trauma and attachment issues. With capacity for up to three young people at a time, we welcome both male and female children.

Our mission is to make a positive impact on each child’s life by helping them understand and process their experiences with trauma and abuse. We aim to build resilience and equip them with essential life skills, preparing them for reintegration into their homes, new foster placements, or independent living as they grow older.

Empowering young people to make positive choices for their futures is at the heart of what we do. Through engaging activities and tailored incentive programs, we encourage positive peer connections and help the children make sense of their past, so they can thrive in the future.
